Delete your You2Pro account

You can delete your You2Pro account at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and which records we have to keep.

In the app

This is the fastest route, and the one we recommend. It works in both the You2Pro customer app and the You2Pro Pro app.

  1. Open the You2Pro app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Read the summary, then confirm.

If you cannot access the app

Email us from the address on your You2Pro account and ask us to delete it. We verify that the request really comes from the account holder before we do anything — which is why this page cannot delete an account on its own.

hello [at] you2pro [dot] io

You can also use our contact form.

Deletion is immediate and permanent

There is no grace period and no way to restore a deleted account. If you want to use You2Pro again afterwards, you will need to create a new one.

What is removed

  • Your sign-in and the ability to access You2Pro
  • Your profile, name, contact details and avatar
  • For Pros: your listings, services, availability and location, so customers no longer find you
  • Reviews written about you

What we keep, and why

Some records have to survive a deletion — we are required to keep them for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and security reasons, and some of them belong as much to the other person in a booking as to you. Where we keep them, we remove the link to your identity: your name no longer appears, and the record shows only that a deleted user was involved.

  • Payment and payout records, for accounting, tax and chargeback purposes
  • Dispute records and their evidence
  • Booking history belonging to the other person in the booking
  • Messages, so the other participant keeps their conversation
  • Security and administrative audit records

See our Privacy Policy for how long we keep these and how they are handled.

Before you can delete

We cannot delete an account while something is still outstanding, because deleting it would leave a booking or a payment with no one attached to it. The app will tell you which of these applies:

  • a booking in progress or scheduled for the future
  • a payment or refund still being processed
  • earnings in your wallet, or a payout on its way to your bank
  • an open dispute or payment dispute

Once those are resolved, deletion goes through.
